Our Programs

Our goal is to create an enabling environment for the healthy development of underprivileged and disadvantaged children and we achieve this through the following initiatives:

  Sponsor-a-Child /Scholarship Scheme

  Schools-in-Poor-Communities

  Community Service

  Mentorship

SPONSOR-A-CHILD / SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

In the bid to empower children through education, Bethesda seeks to complement already existing efforts by creating awareness among the privileged in the society and getting them to sponsor the education of disadvantaged children without taking on the responsibility of parenting.

SCHOOLS-IN-POOR-COMMUNITIES

Realizing that the educational progress and development of children is a universal imperative that is integral to the well being of our communities, Bethesda‘s mission thrust is the setting up of schools that offer free and qualitative education in poor communities.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We seek to change the negative behavioral patterns of our youths and parents in poor communities by mobilizing resource persons to provide tutelage and moral instruction classes, which is considered a holistic approach to preventing community crises and resolving communal conflicts. And when necessary, professionals in our volunteer team also provide health care services.

MENTORSHIP

This is an interactive forum that provides an opportunity for our beneficiaries to be mentored by resource persons from diverse fields. It also creates an avenue for evaluating the academic performance of the children on the Scholarship scheme.
